Start your fireplace this winter without any kindling or newspaper. Simply store the included handmade cast iron wand with pumice stone in the fire lighter and when ready place the fuel soaked wand under your logs and light. The stone will burn and start your logs without having to "build" a fire. They are 8"H and we recommend lamp oil for the fuel, which is readily available. The pumice stones last virtually forever and the wand is handmade by a local blacksmith. The firelighter also includes a padded bottom to rest the stone on and an instructions card.
